Front Wrap Alb with Latin Cross & IHS Lace Insert

TS595 Front wrap alb from The Augustinian Collection by R.J. Toomey™. This collection of lace insert albs is reminiscent of the Middle Ages when men and women of devout faith tailored church apparel by hand. This alb features symbolic IHS Latin Cross and eyelet embroidery. IHS is an ancient monogram formed from the first three letters —Iota, Eta and Sigma—of the Greek word for Jesus: IHSOUS. The letters also represent the phrase Iesous Hominum Salvator: Jesus, savior of man. Alb features a Velcro® closure at shoulder to keep alb firmly in place.
